Hey there readers! As you saw in the title, today I'm talking about what I think of the Maradonian Church. Hope you enjoy it!
The Maradonian church is a religion created by Diego Armando Maradona's admirers and followers. They stipulate that he is the best soccer player of all time; that is why, for them, he is a god.
I strongly believe this is erroneous. We have to know a God is something we call supreme or extraordinary, based on how it causes well on earth and humanity. Compared to a god, Maradona was nothing but a very talented human.
Maradonian church believers paint him as this amazing person, but they don't acknowledge all the bad things he did. I mean, a god is supposed to be something perfect and incredible, but Maradona was a male chauvinist, not to mention he did a lot of drugs. This proves my point because basing it on his mistakes, he was a regular human.
